US Politics Thread

Post stubbo-admin »

Seems like the main politics thread is becoming a Yankee-Doodle Trump-fest, so maybe scope here to split them out.

Will see if this one gains any traction ..if it does will move over a few of the million posts from our two protagonists from the other thread.

Yee-haaa!

Only 74% fuckwits on WHO? , I’d have thought it would be more judging by the state of the UK right now.

Funny thing is none of you know the first thing about Trump, you’ve been fed left wing propaganda for far too long and you’re all so addicted to it.

BBC is one example of how they deliberately edited footage of Trump to completely make up a false narrative. The Russian collusion hoax, Hunters Laptop top, The Epstein files, All complete lies about Trump.

Yet the UK is on the verge of a civil war.

Here is a member of the Republican Party Josh Hawley asking all the right questions after DOGE exposed the Dirty Dems NGO and USAID secret.

And they say Ignorance is bliss.

Oh you’ve got the nerve to show up today. I admire your foolish pride.

I guess we won’t be discussing the Epstein files today.

And I’m sure you’ll swerve the UK politic thread too.

So what petty nonsense are you banging on about now?
I think you're getting yourself confused. What have i posted about the epstein files?

I'm happy to let you bounce around from thread to thread playing out your midlife crisis. Or you can explain such a weak retail sales number in the biggest month of the year.

WASHINGTON, Feb 10 (Reuters) - U.S. retail sales were unexpectedly unchanged in December, putting consumer spending and the overall economy on a slower growth path heading into the new year.

0% growth.

Hello Tommy boy!

I live in the beautiful Southern California by choice. Sure beats Canvey Islnd and Southend mate let me tell you.

I can drive to Big Bear mountain, Mammith mountain and Lake Tahoe which is the Sierra mountains. All great fun in the summer and winter mate.

I have the Mexican border about 90 mins south of me which is always a wild time, Palm Springs is about 90 mins away by car and Vegas about 4 hours drive. Great weather, beautiful women everywhere, beautiful beaches and some fantastic restaraunts and bars. Not a big fan of L A but I’ve parties there plenty of times, had some blinders up there. San Diego a good night out and Northern Cal. Has Sonoma and Napa valley, wine country and Monterrey and Carmel are two great towns full of character and fine dining. The drive back down the coast on highway 1 through Big Sur is spectacular, highly recommended as is 17 mile drive. Great deep sea fishing for Tuna is a good time and Lake fishing especially in the mountains is the bollocks…… Great schools and Colleges for the kids and you have freedom of speech and trial by jury.

So yeah, I’m quite happy with my choice. Not much of a golfer but there are some beautiful golf courses out here, Pelican Hill in Newport coast is spectacular.

Hope that helps!
Lake Tahoe is stunning...blew me away the scenery
Love America apart from food as portions too much, great people especially away from cities
Never played golf there though
Yeah it’s beautiful up there. I love the mountains. When I went there had been a lot of snow dumped on the mountain so the drive up to Harrahs was blocked, so we had a detour to Carson city, the wind was blowing up and with all the fresh snow we got caught in a white out on the freeway. Had to stop, couldn’t see the hood of the car everything was completely white. Pretty scary sitting on the middle of the freeway because you can’t see. You’re hoping that the people behind stop too .So ut was a bit of an adventure. Followed the snow plough up the mountain the following morning. Peppermint schnapps  bag of weed and a radio station that played the best music. At points the traffic had completely stopped and we got out to see the view of the Lake, pretty nice!

Floating down the river is a nice way to get drunk in the sun. I spent a weekend in Blythe on the Arizona border, 114 degrees. It was the weekend Lady Diana died. The camp site we were at sat on the Colorado River, so we got a ride upstream and floated back down to our site. Was shrooming too. Love the outdoors out here. Haven’t been to Sequoia yet or to Redwood.

Arizona is known for boat parties on the river, popular spot being Parker. 4th of July weekend is pretty wild out there.
Laughlin is Vegas on the River, casino’s Jet ski’s fishing, That’s a nice weekend too. Gets hot there.

The National parks out here are pretty spectacular!

Drug prices went up 4% in 2025. That’s a fact.

They’re going up again this year according to the people who actually make them.

"These deals are being announced as transformative when, in fact, they really just nibble around the margins in terms of what is really driving high prices for prescription drugs in the U.S.," said Dr. Benjamin Rome, a health policy researcher at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

Congrats on taking cheap products and making them more expensive.
Do you what hasn't happened with those products from China? They're not being made in the USA like you were promised. You'be just bought them from other countries or killed the demand.

So you've got inflation and a manufacturing industry that contracted and lost jobs.

Of course you are because you can’t handle all the winning that Trump has experienced globally and domestically. The good part is there are 3 more years of it to look forward to. Just a matter of time before the UK thread turns right wing too, that’ll be about the time you’ll fuck off from WHO permanently.

Although I do like having you around I enjoy making fun of you.

Now I skied Big Bear and I’ve fished the Lake in the summer, its closest to where I live. Mammoth is 5 hours away, “God’s Country” beautiful there, close to Yosemite, took the kids there for 4th of July weekend a few years back, we fished the Lake and Went shooting, my mate is ex military so he has an Arsenal so we got to shoot his AR15, Shotgun and pistols, kids loved it. I skied heavenly at South Lake Tahoe, stayed in Harrah’s right at the top of the mountain, It’s a big casino. Interesting thing is South Lake Tahoe is right on the border with Nevada, the capital of Nevada is right there it’s called Carson City, next to Reno which is full of Casino’s, a mini Vegas. It was known for its brothels, Mustang ranch was the big one. Fucking beautiful up there though , a beautiful Lake! So plenty to do all year round. Fucking nice place to live to be fair. I’ve taken the kids to Maui, Hawaii Island if you ever go stay at the Westin at Whalers village. Sits on Ka Anopali beach (spelling) beautiful beach, scuba diving is good there, sea Turtles everywhere. Also been to Vancouver Canada, great place, highly recommended, people are friendly especially the women!

Anyway, broaden your horizons fella, you just might like it.
