Odds slashed from 5/1 to 7/2.

Huge club.

They won't struggle finding a suitable candidate.
Nope, they did pretty well with the last 2 appointments so hopefully the next is just as successful.
Who do you want to be the new manager at your club?

De Zerbi, who ends up imploding, but sadly does have an immediate effect on teams. Just left his job at Marseille.

Yeah that’s probably bad news. Also Potter isn’t still on the market. Let’s hope their problems are deeper than just the manager.

Thought they would be stupid enough to keep him for a few more games.
Just have to hope no new manager bounce.   With half the squad out injure and a relegation battle ahead...not exactly prime time to jump into that gig.

De Zerbi early favourite. Would love to see something like Southgate or Lee Carsley happen though.

This has been such a cruel season for us. So many late goals + other results seemingly always going against us.

Just can't help feeling that we're going down.

Agreed. We are 4th in the form table over five games with no sign of that form changing, they are second from bottom.

After the Christmas period I really weren’t bothered about going down. Complete reversal now, with the way we are playing, I would be gutted. The turn around in form is pretty remarkable.

We finally have some young very promising players in likes of Fernandes, Summerville and Diouf. Scarles and Todibo have improved massively and Potts and Magassa are showing potential.

I was impressed with Hermansen last night. Takes character to come back into the team after a dreadful start and perform like that.

long way to go we just need to try and see out games if we can. Concerns are other teams getting results around us despite playing badly and an injury to either Bowen, Summerville or Fernandes.

I know technically the decision was right as he played advantage after the foul on Haaland but the correct football decision would have been to give the goal and and send Slobzzzzzgggyyy off

Though there is controversy about the application of the laws I think that the goal should have stood.

Can you imagine the the reaction if that disallowed goal had been City’s last gasp equaliser?

Hold on just a minute, in an earlier game, I can't remember which one? we were penalised with a penalty because according to the officials, even though the initial contact was outside the box and because it continued into the box it was deemed a penalty. How is that different with that foul on Salah?
Yeah
That was at Arsenal... and it was no different at all

I have no idea what a penalty is these days
Seems in some cases you can pull someone back in the area but if you let go it’s not a penalty depending on what shirt you have on
Some contact is enough in some cases and in others it’s regarded as ‘not enough’ or a ‘coming together’. Walker tripped Summerville on Saturday … suspect some players would have got that
What is handball also seems an utterly subjective decision

We're 3 points behind Forest.

We were dead and buried after they beat us.
And we were 12 points behind Spurs five weeks ago. We're now 5 points behind.

If you're Spurs you'd be getting nervous again. Can't see where their next win comes after failing in their last 7 games.
They've won twice in 16 games I think. Considering they need about 3 wins in the last 13 games to be safe, I'm sure that they are shitting it.
