Chim - Yea that's how I see it, I'm not blaming anyone else. To add, we had we had chances to score a second, but could not do it.
What else is also working against us is, as has been said, is that we now need to win some other games apart from the winnable ones, but we can't do it, as we witnessed last night and against Chelsea - how come Leeds can come back from 2 down at Chelsea yet we couldn't defend a 2 goal lead?? We have Liverpool month end and we need to go there and win, but does anyone think we will. Everything points to us going down unfortunately.

Re: West Ham vs Man Utd | PL | 10.2.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
Like someone else said earlier almost every match had 6-7 minutes of injury time tonight, not just us.
Let's not be silly about it, once you get over the sting of drawing that game against the form team of the moment the mancs had it drilled into them that if they cracked on they'd get something out of tonight.
It's probably not a secret that we cannot hold on to a lead. That MUST influence their players and ours.
It's a bit like everyone hanging their coat on the fact we couldn't defend corners earlier in the season, a fact that got regurgitated long, long after Nuno sorted it out.
The only way to stop conceding late on is to make positive substitutions instead of more defenders and attack the opposition like we're a goal down, like every other team we seem to play.
It's probably too risky for Nuno to get his head around but game management seems to be a bit too complicated a concept this season.

Just my 2 cents, but I think what is now adding to the frustration is we are beginning to see why Nuno is rated in the game as a top coach, add to that we have some very good players, and with 1 or 2 more youngsters coming through and a couple of good additions in the summer the future would be looking quite promising. So in short, we have a lot to lose. We need to find a way, and it can start with Wolves doing us a favour later.

Little "gift" from the authorities who need (NEED) Man U in Europe next season.

It's actually devastating but the reality is we couldn't see the game out and is anyone really surprised? We need a favour from Wolves tonight.

Id put him on the bench at Burton to freshen him up
Deeply frustrating but needed to get hold of the ball in midfield more & stop the crosses
Disasi has made a big difference
Wilson didn’t put as much pressure on their defenders as Taty and obviously had to score that one on one at the end.
Tottenham lost and need some unlikely favours from Burnley & Wolves at Palace & Forest tomorrow
Lots of changes against Burton I reckon! Give a few a Rest on the bench! Maybe even start Kilman

Any ideas why Nuno stuck Traore left and Walker Peters right when they came on? Maybe Walker Peters may have been better defending that cross. Clutching at straws!

But that was a decent point against a much-improved Man Utd side.
Saw some serious effort - and full-on commitment - from the players today. More of it.
Yep, totally agree mate.
this is what we have been asking for donkeys.
got a kick in the bollocks tonight, but the players gave it everything, and we will always back that...

Yep.
Thought Bowen & Summerville were sensational tonight, soon as they went off we lost that presence upfront, but understandable subs at that late point in the game.

Haven't seen their goal again but looked a good goal that maybe we could have stopped by reacting quicker?
It's a bit harsh to quibble too much really. I thought the defence had another impressive game. Disasi did get caught a little flat-footed but overall he was magnificent.
Like others have said we defend from the front so our players should've given an obvious and stupid foul at the other end of the pitch to stop the game. I bet Taty would've known to do that if still on the pitch.

I knew it was going to be a tough ask not to concede but we were holding out ok and Wilson had a chance to put it to bed.
He was given offside anyway
Although to be fair you may have meant the earlier opportunity when he perhaps should have squared it to Magassa

Bournemouth are a shocker to predict...either they stitch us up or we easily dispatch them 3-0 or similar. They are a nightmare...you never know what you're gonna get.

Re: West Ham vs Man Utd | PL | 10.2.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
That is the first time in ages I have had to step away from WHO and the TV because of a result.
There were not 7 minutes of added time and that is a fact. The reason I had to calm down is because of how that may affect us long term and what a win would have done for confidence and fighting relegation. There is no getting away from it those are 2 massive points lost which may come back to haunt us like the Chelsea game.
The positives, Summerville, Soucek, Taty, Wan Bissaka, Hermandsen and even everybody else, couldn't fault the effort tonight and if offered a point before KO I would have taken it. We also look competitive now which makes you wonder how we have ended up in this position. I guess a mixture of Nuno fucking around with tactics, Pacunta not wanting to be here and that clown Kilman. We've improved since Taty and Pablo have arrived as well. Who'd of thought having an outlet would help results wise!
Still hoping Forest, Leeds and even Spurs have a horrendous run of results and we can pick up some wins and draws.
We still have a fighting chance but boy 3 points tonight would really have helped.
Who knows what the rest of the season will bring.
Actually gutted tonight

I'm still not sure about Nuno and his substitutions .as we try and hold out in games.
Overall a very good team performance with everyone putting a shift in but we just aren't getting the rewards at the moment.

Re: West Ham vs Man Utd | PL | 10.2.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
Every game tonight finished between 97 and 98 minutes it's normal, what is galling is that we can't hold on to a lead and 20 points from winning positions dropped, it's extra time for both teams why couldn't we score in extra time? and they scored in the 96th minute.
