US Politics Thread
Seems like the main politics thread is becoming a Yankee-Doodle Trump-fest, so maybe scope here to split them out.
Will see if this one gains any traction ..if it does will move over a few of the million posts from our two protagonists from the other thread.
Yee-haaa!

6 months ago they claimed Irans nuclear capability was obliterated - either they lied then or they lied now.
I’ll wait and see before making a judgement on this, regime change hasn’t worked out well historically.
Oh l don't know regime change in 1945 when Mussolini was topped and then swung upside also with his slag worked out quite well
Bet you still shed a tear for him goosestep

Trump needs a war to take the focus away from his economy. How’s he doing in the opinion polls on that subject?

Re: US Politics Thread
My last post on this thread because it gets too divisive and we all West Ham
The US disbanded the Baatist (Sunni Muslim) government with no replacement Therefore the former government employees like police, army, civil servants etc were not getting paid. The Shia Muslim interim government replaced the employ spaces in governments position with the majority Shia Muslims and that's when the sectarian violence started and the birth of the Sunni Wahhabist ISIS
The Shawn Ryan show on you tube, A former US navy SEAL who fought in Iraq, Every one who fought and spilt blood in Iraq thinks the same thing .Watch Shawn Ryan and Michael Lester
Shawn Ryan is a gun loving Republican

Re: US Politics Thread
Apparently the US offered to provide Iran free nuclear power permanently if they agreed to stop enriching Uranium, they refused. So their enrichment had fuck all to do with energy like they claim.
One things for sure, we will go in and find out exactly the extent of the damage caused by the bombings and we will find any other secret facilities that may exist.
Iran with Nukes would be a nightmare. Thanks to Trump we can all sleep easier at night cos Iran won’t be getting any Nukes any time soon.
One less thing to worry about!

Being ex-civils & worked on 24/7 contracts where the concrete pours are continuous, it was impressive the way Iran was able to rebuild so quickly(imo)... probably why they decided to attack?, I'm surmising obviously.
Rebuilding the above ground structure maybe. The centrifuge manufacturing and underground tunnels would take many years to rebuild. If the enriched uranium was destroyed then that’s years as well.
Remember it was obliterated.

He'll go down in the history books as an excellent Leader in ridding the world of despicable regimes and putting wars to an end.
His foreign policy has been superb, the Abraham accords and plans for Gaza were scoffed at, Now all of a sudden there’s real hope in the Middle East. I also like his position with the Western hemisphere, makes all the sense in the world. Venezuela is making a come back, Cuba will be next and the Mexican cartels are getting their fair share of attention too.

If I obliterated something in June, I’d be very disappointed if it was completely functional 6 month later.
Maybe someone over exaggerated the impact of the original strike?

Yeah well they started rebuilding and Trump said that’s not gonna happen.
You didn’t think they bombed their nuclear facilities and it was gonna be a permanent solution did you?

Trump said that the USA had obliterated their nuclear capabilities in the bombings a while ago.
