Fuck it, I'll say it. I wouldn't ever say he is a great Captain or anything of the like, however I do believe he is the best available who leads well by example. A bit underrated in that respect as he can inspire the Team by setting the tone from minute 1 to minute 120.

2 goals and a penalty for an unofficial hat-trick and my Man of the Match. So glad he weren't rested at all after 120 minutes just for the sake of fucking League survival. Cups should always take priority.

Can we keep him even if we go down?  Financially maybe not, but he has got a touch of the Nobles about him and I do wonder if he wouldn't mind staying, after all he must have had opportunities to go before now.

 

 

My gut feeling is that he'd stay and give it to at least january to see if we can get back up. I dont know him at all but he gives the impression hes not money driven. I think hes happy here, hes not got that ambition like Rice, or he would have moved at the same time.
