Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
The biggest problem with Brexit wasn’t that we left it’s the Beauracratic cunts and their constant over reach. Way too many regulations and laws that are not popular or warranted.
Reign in the power of Brussels and people might be more inclined on rejoining. As it stands is a fucking mess and getting worse. Nobody can deny that.
So if you want to blame anyone blame Brussels the whole thing started as a common market for trade and morphed into an unelected Dictatorship . No wonder people voted to leave.

Cheese.
What a fucking wimp. Take the train back to London every 4-6 weeks, clear the shelves at your favourite Sainsbury's/Marks & Spencer's of cheese, bacon and sausages then toddle back.
Easily doable in a day and you can look down your nose at everyone living in non-EU land while you're at it.
If you've got any business nous about you, you could probably fund the whole thing by bringing stuff back to the UK that we can't get any more on account of Brexit and flogging it on the streets of London.

Was always nonsense with no positive end game
Woukd be nice for people to be honest why they voted for it
I don’t know Boris
All I know is that he is an appalling buffoon who never should have been in public office
We appeared to have a run of dismal Tory leaders
Tory members even voted for Liz Truss
Those people are very quiet these days
The likes of Boris and Rees-Mogg used the middle aged , white working class for their need to Brexit voted in. Them being mugs bought it even though they don’t give a toss about the working class and made a lot of money for themselves and their toff friends.

Obviously what does matter to most Brexit voters is stopping immigration
How is that going under Brexit?
You obviously aren’t painting enough roundabouts
Even the most ardent Brexiteers admitted that in the short term it would harm the economy. Not sure what short term is but it’s been 5 years now and you would think all these so called new trade deals would see our economy improving or thriving as one Brexit poster would say. That’s not happened .
Anyway the main point was to stop immigration which was the price to pay to loose the free trade agreement. This has failed and polls imply Brexit was a mistake. Why can’t wankers like Gank just admit it as so?

You obviously aren’t painting enough roundaboutsBusiness have to trade within the environment that the population of a particular country chose to live by - they are not a special, over-riding case - that is the first step to stripping out democracy and replacing it with corporate-led globalisation.
It's not the fault of Brexit or those who democratically chose it that businesses didn't use the extra 4 years they were given to update and adapt THEIR processes to meet the post=Brexit environment.
If there's excessive red tape and paperwork, the best course of action is to take up the case with those who insist on such red tape and paperwork, not to keep blaming the UK population. As I have said before it is the fault of the Tories not the people who voted in that the government chose to to go for for the most damaging version of leaving the EU for the sake of idealogical purity.
They didn't have to do that but they actively chose to do it.
I remember Daniel Hannon saying that "nobody is talking about leaving the single market".
Leaving the single market was not on the ballot paper.
I agree with that, but I think a lot of the fuckeries were down to big business paymasters of certain politicians calling in favours big enough to force them to run roughshod over the will of the voters. in the hope of getting the whole thing cancelled (at no cost to themselves).

The UK was in the EU & had ease of trade with fellow EU countries
Not sure what businesses were supposed to do when faced with extra paper work and hoops to jump through trying to trade as they did before non EU members. They have to play by the rules that the EU demands of non members
What part of that trade is as easy or better than it was?
Still at least Brexit has reduced the arrival of Johnny Foreigner which was the aim of Brexit voters. It HAS hasn’t it?
And if that wasn’t the motivation of most voters what was?

Mass deportations policy read it if you are interested I posted it once before ,To do this you would need a PM with a huge majority willing to repeal the equality act 2010 .Some of the amendments made to existing laws suggest taking responsibly from the home office for making decisions on immigration with no suggestion of who will make the aforementioned decisions on immigration issues

I don't think Boris Johnson posts on here, Sven, but maybe if you bump into him, you can ask him why he decided to go against the will of the people and single handedly do his best to fuck up Brexit?

There was "no way" India or Pakistan would develop nuclear weapons, either.
