But at least we've lost to a decent top 4 side. Getting thrashed at home by Forest. Good work 2

It takes the edge off somewhat mind you.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
Our remaining league games are
Wolves (H)
Palace (A)
Everton (H)
Brentford (A)
Arsenal (H)
Newcastle (A)
Leeds (H)
We are going to have to beat Wolves, Everton and Leeds at home and win at least one of the away games (Palace or Brentford look most possible).
Four wins (or three wins and three draws) takes us to 41 points.

Reckon we need to win 2 of the next 4, maybe 3, then one of the last two. Doable but getting tough.

I'm struggling to see where you're next points are coming from. Still haven't won a league game this year.

It's shaping up to be a shoot out between us and Spurs for survival.
Wolves next is shit or bust for us. We simply have to win that.

It's like he's banking on those two games and maybe drumming it into them that they need to win or at least 4 points from them. It's either brave or stupid if it inspires them to do so fair play, if the pressure of it had the reverse effect he'll probably lose his job and they'll go down..

Fuck knows what my point is or if you can read anything into it.
Funny enough I watched a vid just now and the same thing was said, just strange for a manager to use that type of dialogue.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
It's a fine for Forest, winning breeds winning. They were pretty ecstatic after the win, thery'll now be thinking of the CL if they win the comp, great incentive. it's worse for Spurs that they won, can't see Forest losing at Spurs now.
Leeds like several on here (moi ) have mentioned are drawing to much and not scoring. I still take them to go down. Man Utd away next, they won't get anything there. DCL to pull out of the England meet up,probably.
Vital we get a point at least now.
Everton at home now will be a lot harder with them potentially vying for a top 6 position.
They play Brentford before us for an european play off eliminator. Who would ahve thought.

They are definitely right in it now, smart money still says they will limp over the line, but will be shitting themselves.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
We need Wolves & Burnley to continue Leeds run of nils then
When I’ve seen them early season they’ve worked hard so hopefully hit the wall & DCL finally gets injured
Everton fans must be exasperated after his perma injuries with them

They have Burnley & Wolves at home so should make it
Also have Tottenham & us away so obviously want them to win there & come to us already safe & not bothered
Getting something at Villa would be MASSIVE
The minimum objective should be getting Leeds within two or better going into the final day. Anything, or anyone, more than that would be an absolute bonus.
