Massive match Sunday and we need to take something but a win will take and keep us out of the bottom three.
Hopefully Summerville is back and if he is just one decision for Nuno to make and that is which of the centre backs misses out... Really tough decision for him as Disasi has been great since arriving, Dinos and Todibo were both outstanding against City.
If Summerville isn't fit I'm guessing he'll go for another midfielder and hope he does as I'd prefer not to go three at the back again.

the north london cunts haven't won a league game since the new year started, so why will they suddenly start playing like world beaters? most of their 'stars' want to be elsewhere, our biggest problem is our manager and his negativity

We have really got to be looking at 13 points from those games, If we can do that we would have given ourselves a decent chance
its doable, but where do we find the form for that many points?. We've had a very poor season indeed and have spurned so many chances, do we have it in us? Maybe, and we have no choice to believe we can do it, but today we showed why we are where we are and I have my expectations firmly in check about the outcome of this season.
Re: A.Villa v West Ham United | PL | 22.3.26 | Predictions and Match Thread
It is what it is today, I didn't expect much as Villa are a good side and it was just a case of which Villa turned up. Sad thing is the wrong West Ham turned up but you can put a bit of that down to the injury to Todibo as it upset the match plan. Sure you could argue that Nuno could have plonked in Kilman to keep it as it was planned or used Kante or Magassa ahead of Potts but if I am honest there isn't much difference between Kante, Magassa or Potts, none are PL standard. We literally are and have been four of five good players short all season. Positives are Spurs can't buy a win and as I said earlier as a Club they haven't been in this position in living memory. I thought Forest would handle the pressure better and on today they have. We still have a chance but have to play better than today.

11 should do it. Might even be less if Spurs continue to struggle to win games. Still not won in 2026 and last won at Home in the League on 6th December vs the mighty Brentford.

I have to say I didn't see them shithousing and the ref wasn't bad (for once) TBH, and VAR worked perfectly when he did make an error. Their keeper acted the cսnt but he always does.

What are you on about? Losing at Villa aint no shame and 1 that occurred when we had to make a forced change from the start. If we are to lose any game right now after our decent run of form/performances, then Away at Villa isn't going to break our survival chances at all. If we lose to Wolves at Home next then I can understand the feeling more but not this one. It smarts a bit because of the Spurs result failing to capitalise but ultimately that'll hurt them cunts a hell of a lot more at Home again than it will us right now. I am definitely taking the positive out of Spurs crumbling at just the right time in another winnable game for them. Fuck taking the negatives out of it just because it's the 'wonderful' Spurzzz.Today’s results
you’ve spoken about 1 of them
were 2 points off safety now cos of goal difference
and still have harder games
we’ve just played like cunts
we ain’t gonna claw that back
Wolves H
Palace A
Everton H
Brentford A
Arsenal H
Newcastle A
Leeds H
4 Home, 3 Away
Only 2 points from safrom I'd take that every day of the week.

We need to win at Wolves, Leeds, Brentford and get a draw Everton and Palace. We should just focus on play for those teams.
Don't count out the Arsenal game. They will have the league sown up and may have other priorities. We have shown we can beat them, its a London Derby, we are at home, between us we could relegate spurs !!

Positive from today's game.
It ended before the spurs game so I could switch over and watch the remaining punters boo them off the pitch
Observations:
1. The two commentators were onanising themselves senseless over Villa for the whole 90 minutes.
2, Don't footballers have silly haircuts.

Three weeks is a fucking long time away now and fancy any excitement over the cup game will be diminished a little now as we are looking like we are fucked unless Spurs do the unthinkable.
A truly awful weekend. We've had better ones we've also had worse this season but we're hanging on by our fingernails and definitely looking favourites for the drop, the fat lady hasn't sung yet though.

Re: A.Villa v West Ham United | PL | 22.3.26 | Predictions and Match Thread
I said a week ago to someone on here that it would be between us and Spurs.
I feel thats coming true.
I just think it's a mentality thing. Spurs have still yet to win a game this year and we have better form but have complete brain farts for some reason (Liverpool and now Villa).
I also feel (as I'm sure others do) that gambling Summerville on a cup game could prove to be worth 200m+ for us. We just dont have the cover for our best players. If he's back for next game then maybe that point is moot, but I think Summerville against Villa is a different game.
The thing I didnt get is that Traore should have been deputising for Summerville and we should have just tried to play our attacking game. Changing the way we play for City is one thing, but not for anyone else. Every game needs 3 points and we are unlikely to not concede so we have to try to score goals all the fucking time now. There's no excuse.
The only reason I'm calm is that I didnt have Villa down as a team we would beat (just cos it's such a West Ham thing to lose a game we think we should win).

nychammer wrote: ↑22 Mar 2026, 16:14 No complaints. We are a very poor side and look every bit like relegation contenders. Sides that can score goals stay up and right now its hard to see where they will come from. Today was another nail in the coffin and just makes it that bit harder for us to escape it now. Put your money on spurs suddenly finding form now its looking increasingly more like us and them. It's still very much in our hands but we have to do much much better than that.
Thats where my fear lies. Spurs, by the law of averages, have to get better dont they ? and eek out a few wins. Not winning home games has been a problem all season and typically we meet a much improved Wolves side next. Its in our hands but I just see us passing up the invitations to survive as we have all season. Its a weak squad, too slow and not athletic enough all over the pitch. Just got to hope it can shit house its way to safety but as mentioned whos scoring the goals? Summerville has bern the difference. Can he continue to seasons end and can Bowen find the net regularly again?
