Half the board will adopt 'see how it goes' and the other half (and these are by no means always the same two halves) will be demanding they are sacked before they've even taken a training session. And when the results are shit because they will be under Sullivan it'll slide to 90-95% demanding the new man is sacked in under three months.

This would be so typical of the board, again ping-ponging to a manager with a COMPLETELY different style of play to the last.

Anyone who doesn't see that Nuno is about as close to a carbon copy of Moyes as you can imagine just doesn't get football. In terms of how they set up they're both about forsaking possession, defending deep, drawing opposition players in and then quickly transitioning with fast, direct counter attacks. He's probably done a slightly better job of it overall than Moyes has in recent years but there's really not much difference between the two.

Personally I wouldn't mind him just because the football would be slightly better to watch and a bit more effective, which just tells you how absolutely fucking shite it has been under Potter.

Good at Wolves, shit at spurs, good at forest, although the two places where he's been good he's basically had an open chequebook (or at least been well backed, to not be flippant) from owners who were absolutely splurging.

Can't see him being good here or able to make it work with what he'd want and need vs what the club would furnish him with. I think he'd just have all the same problems as Potter only be more outspoken about it and end up sacked after a year too.

The Forest owner is a fool to rock the boat and get rid of a good situation there unless he's either become a real problem behind the scenes (whining about not having new signings is a bit rich) or got a surefire better thing lined up. Because it could all go tits up if the players love Nuno and he's just got that magic formula with them like Ranieri got at Leicester. I can't imagine him lasting five minutes here if he's going to whine about not being backed by his owner.
