I have seen a few of Jason Williams' interviews. I like him; he is grounded and speaks sense
Jobseeker!
Can of Strongbow, I'm a mess
Desperately clutching onto a leaflet on depression
Supplied to me by the NHS
It's anyone's guess how I got here
Anyone's guess how I'll go?
I suck on a roll-up, pull your jeans up
Fuck off, I'm going home!
Jobseeker!

Never heard of them.
When you come out of Brixton station there are murals of David Bowie (Brixton is his home town) bang opposite, might be worth a look if interested.

I've known Jason a long time, since well before the Sleaford Mods.
Knew him when he worked in Paul Smith and a couple of other clothes shops in Nottm. Also from the music scene up there which my mates were heavily involved in.
Used to cut his hair in my hairdressing days.
We have a weird connection sharing 2 ex girlfriends (not literally at the same time) and he also ended up living in my old house after I sold it to someone else who knew him, bizarrely one of the UKs best and only Theremin players who then rented my old bedroom to him.
Also had another mutual friend in Nottingham who had nothing to do with any of the above.
He's very genuine, none of his music or persona is fake, he is as he appears on stage.
Have a rare copy of his first album under the Sleaford Mods name (self released) before he teamed up with Simon who is responsible for the electronic style that was the missing piece of the jigsaw that propelled them to fame.
It's pretty good in its own right, bit more soulful than what the Mods became.
