Scott Mills sacked by the BBC
For issues related to his "personal conduct". Another wrongun at the BBC? Quelle surprise.
cսnt was on £350+k per year. Ridiculous what these people get paid with TAXPAYER money.

Yeah, but we wouldn't hear about the ones that don't have a profile. Take the CoOp, for example. Two CEO's sacked in five years. One for buying crack cocaine, the other for inappropriate behaviour. It goes on everywhere.

Investigation from police in 2016 found no evidence and he wasn't charged. So why has this been dragged up again now?
There wasn't "no evidence" there wasn't enough evidence for a prosecution, they are two completely different things.

The old bill now say the boy was under 16 at the time of the alleged offences.
I guess that kind of mud sticks no matter how historical and regardless of the outcome of any investigation.
Someone has bought it to the attention of the beeb or threatened to sell a story relating to it and his employers have acted decisively despite him not being found guilty of any actualcrime
It would be interesting to see what an employment lawyer would make of it all and whether he will now be in line for a big license funded payoff.
Of course only two people know the truth of what happened and whether there is any substance to the complaints but I guess people will make their own minds up.

Re: Scott Mills SACKED by the BBC
I guess when he took the job he gambled on these historic allegations and subsequent police investigations not being dug up again.
He probably saw the pound notes amd figured it was too good a gig to turn down.
The question is how much due diligence did the beeb do ?
Baring in mind the the previous scandals and the amount of scrutiny they were under you would of thought they would of gone the extra mile to make sure he was whiter than white but maybe saw it as unproven and innocent until proven guilty.
I guess Mills ticked a good few boxes in certain middle management and production circles.
Funny enough I bumped into an old.scbool.pal a while back who had done 25 plus years at television centre / Wogan house.
At school he was one of the chaps chasing girls rucking and sniffing glue before leaving and getting a job in the video library and archive
He is now proudly part of the LGBTQ community, a rampant lefty vegan who swapped Tottenham for FGR, goes on Free Palestine marches and any other march organised by his union and is totally devoid of any humour as I discovered when I joked
"where did it all go.wrong"
"When I was bullied by you neanderthals at school was the response"
Clearly a lot of.imdoctranisation goes on in that organisation

Was investigated at the time but not prosecuted
Was reading he was due to host Eurovision
Obviously need to cancel that hotbed of paedos for the next decade
And check the hard drives of all Eurovision viewersActually it was nearly 30 years ago. The investigation was opened in 2016 and no charges brought.
The headlines say teenage boy, 19? Mills was 23 back then.
There is more this than meets the eye. Why wait 10 years after the investigation to sack him over something that happened nearly 30 years ago
Maybe because more evidence of the abuse is coming out? Or doesn't abuse matter when they are close in age?

Re: Scott Mills SACKED by the BBC
interesting listening to the token cսnt called nihal on breakfast tv earlier, apparently he believes it's nothing to do with noncery but the bbc running scared from the right wing press. a stark contrast to last week's appearance by martin clunes on the same show, when asked about his portrayal of the welsh sex case edwards and asked about an inappropriate relationship between edwards & a young man, clunes quickly corrected them saying "no, grooming"

What a list of wronguns and alleged wronguns all previously employed long term by the BBC.Narcissistic personalities that are attracted to the type of job, I would say. Don't think it's the beeb's fault necessarily, we are just more likely to hear about them when it happens there.
