Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
38 game seasons evens itself out. We would have to look closer to home for blame both in the Board and in the dressing room before pinning it on questionable injury time. Not saying it looked right, just making the point we have put ourselves in this mess all of our own doing in the League. Of ...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
Who was it that said the average added time is six or seven minutes well all the games so far tonight it's been three or four with one match five. The seven minutes in our match was obscene Agreed. There were 7 minutes at the Sunderland v Scouse game but that was as a result of the very lengthy in...

I knew it was going to be a tough ask not to concede but we were holding out ok and Wilson had a chance to put it to bed.
He was given offside anyway
Although to be fair you may have meant the earlier opportunity when he perhaps should have squared it to Magassa

We’d be in the champions league if we appointed him when I said.Yes that’s right we would be plus we would have signed Fernandes, Cunha, Mbuemo and Casemiro.Don’t be ridiculous, Feet.
Well to be fair you fucking started it

I just knew when we (Scarles) didn't take it to the corner but tried to play Wilson in... It's the WHU playbook I've seen too many times... Feels like a loss. I know that it is actually a decent result against them on paper, but does it help us escape? no i doesn't, and you're right, it does fee...

Re: West Ham vs Man Utd | PL | 10.2.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
The annoying thing is with Forest playing Wolves on Weds it won't be the Wolves side that rolled us over Why won't it? If anything, they added to their squad with Angel Gomes. They did lose Larsen but he is useless anyway. Yup. I think this is a game Wolves will be looking forward to. That 11 point...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
In reference to that foul on Salah by Guehi: Hold on just a minute, in an earlier game, I can't remember which one? we were penalised with a penalty because according to the officials, even though the initial contact was outside the box and because it continued into the box it was deemed a penalty....

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
We are just going around in circles now and changing our minds every week, so maybe it is just a case of concentrating on ourselves. Most are saying it's Forest now and not Leeds we have to catch, but there is a high chance after these midweek fixtures that Forest and Leeds will be on the same poin...

Very true, they wont be so fussy then. For those that can’t get tickets, you can celebrate as I imagine a few of us will end up with bans between now and the end of the season. And for those of us who pass on tickets at face value to mates, etc, we’re about the get the hump and even more walk away. I can’t wait to go down because in th...

I'm enjoying Todd Boehly, Josh Harris and Flavio Briatore getting sucked in. * and no, it doesn't mean I'm glad that there are victims. There are no more victims than there were before these names were divulged. Implicating the guilty doesn’t increase the number victims despite Thunderclint's claims...

For example... Wasn't there some tax reason for Toney as to why it would have ended up silly him moving back from Saudi already? I seem to remember it coming up but i can't say if there's any truth in it. Think that was the case in the past but think that's expired now. Could be wrong. I think i...

Not suggesting they wouldn't improve the squad but of those I imagine Gomes and Sterling would both demand guaranteed starting places, which we would be unlikley to offer in their positions.
Sterling is still an option... for someone at least

Re: Rate the transfer window...
Surely Disasi is an improvement on Igor... I reckon by a considerable distance, been having a little look into him and despite what some have said on here I've read a few comments that he was decent at Villa. On the subject of not replacing Paqueta, it isn't really a failure as they in my opinion ...

Re: Rate the transfer window...
For me there were two main failings in the window, probably driven by one main action. 1 - the failure to replace Paqueta with a creative midfielder 2 - the failure to get any kind of cover for Fernandes I think you can lay the blame for both those failings on us paying way over the odds for both T...

Just a reminder that it hasn't always been the case that everything he does turns to shit!
Quite telling that in that entire almost 4 minute clip he's seen heading the ball less than a handful of times and not one shows him winning a heading duel

Can't believe people still think they can get anything out of Phillips. Talk about a one hit wonder. Pep really got stung on that one but he don't care. Was gutted we got old fatty Phillips and he performed as expected. The hype at the time around signing him (a City Superstar!) was laughable. Was...

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
But that's a completely separate point to 'Will he actually turn out to be decent or at least better than expected?' which is the point eusebiovic was actually making. If I thought he'd turn out to be either outstanding or awful I'd have said as much. As it is I think he is the best we can hope for...
