The shrinking imports number is what is driving 2% of that GDP growth figure.

Such an important indicator of domestic demand isn't a silly negative. It just underlines everything I have been telling you.
Meantime the US nation debt grew by $6bn s day in Q4. One of the fatest debt accumulation periods in US history. Are you gonna pretend that doesnt matter either?

thats in-line with Q4 in 2022, 2018 and 2019.

It is worth reading PM Carney’s speech at the WEF at Davos. The contrast between his and Trump’s rambling, self centred and often incorrect bawblings of yesterday is stark.

Carney’s perception and conclusion about Trump’s stewardship of the USA is corruscating. He made points about the world as it is now that many Americans are uncomfortable with, the likelihood for example that by alienating long term partners the USA would stand alone whereas former allies would of necessity be united and on a different trajectory.

I consider Trump to be a self centred idiot but after recent events and following yesterday’s speech of his I realise that I have grossly underestimated his idiocy.

I think the thing that I hate most in my life though is flat track bullies, (that and whoever decided it would be a good idea to sell marmite in plastic tubs).

So I’m happy that as a country, we’ve had the moral backbone to join other countries, in sticking up for Denmark, rather than back down each and every time he has a late night brainstorm.
