Poplar Tales - Twitterer ITKer
Someone on here a few weeks back mentioned a Twitter poster under the username Poplar Tales who appears to be an ITK of some kind. He apparently called the Daniel Kretinsky investment before it was announced, but as someone who doesn't have a Twitter account, I have no way of verifying that.

Anyway, the point of my post is he has a new thread that points to a US takeover.

Pinch of salt, don't shoot the messenger, etc.

I read that without my glasses on and thought it said 'bum him alive'.

As long as the first fucking thing they do is to sack Moyes then I don't mind who buys the club. Actually they need to sack him and then fucking burn him alive to make sure there's no possibility we could employ the fucking hopeless messa third time. I'm sure that's well within the gift of either the Qatari or the yanks, they're all primitive bloodthirsty fuckers at the end of the day.

And therefore, presumably, a set date to buy?

The expiry date, of the share option purchase agreement (a date by which the option, must be taken up), isn't in the public domain.

I’m sure DK could find a way to ‘flip’ the club quickly if he wanted to, or come to some financial arrangement to not take up his option.

I’d rather Qataris than Yanks. If you’re gonna sell out for money might as well do it properly.

Kretinsky has the option to buy but that does not mean he definitely will.

Kretinsky has a price agreed though, doesn't he? And therefore, presumably, a set date to buy?

Could be a consortium linked to Tripp Smith. Was rumoured a couple of years ago.

Isn’t Sullivan’s elder boy’s tacky pad in Poplar?
