I have never watched the 2006 highlights I still cant ,so no matter who we get in Mondays draw now with so many points in the bag we have to go for it, we probably wont finish in the top four anyway I personally don't want uefa cup so lets get our money's worth out of this FA cup purple kit!

I couldn't care less about the shirts they're wearing ~ It's who's wearing them that really matters!

I like the purple kit, but then I liked thst weird magnolia & navy blue away kit we had years ago

My favourite kit would be the away (sky blue with claret hoops) kit of the late 60's, in fact I even thought of getting one & ripping the sleeves off to make it into a vest!

That should be 1-0 not 2-0.

Prefer playing in our traditional colours, but you can't deny that it's actually a very nice kit and has a 100% win record.

Bristol City wore a purple kit in a cup replay at Anfield. They won 2-0 and Brian TINNION got on the end of one. I believe Junior BENT was rampaging down the right. Some quite natty green short with it as well.

Get all nostalgic seeing the Bukta BAC shirts, my first game was April 1990. Loved the Argentina style away shirt.

Re: FA cup purple kit
It was a Bristol City fan who was at their game on Tues who was on the radio and he was talking about their lucky purple (and some other colour) kit. My ears pricked up for obvious reasons. Could be bollocks, but could induce a snigger if true.

I think you mean the Bukta "Manhattan" shirt. It was put together the same as a replica jersey but was never an official kit - just an item of "leisure" wear.

That's fucking funny if true.

Re: FA cup purple kit
Only saw one person wearing it on Tuesday night, a far kid who looked about 8.

As I understand it Bristol City may be wearing their 3rd kit, which as someone else has mentioned is purple in the main.

Re: FA cup purple kit
Does anyone else remember that thai dye one?

It's definetely not my memory playing tricks - it wasn't a training top type thing, but proper shirt and it must've been sanctioned by the club.

Must be worth a bit, as never seen it since, and there's no reference to it on google whatsoever.

We all know that a gold kit will be coming very soon.
