Apparently this window is the gift that keeps on giving

Though not exactly sure if he is available now or not.

Of course they fucking refused to sell him. Why would they sell him in to us anyway.... And in the final hours of the window?

As has been said if Sullivan thinks saying that will placate fans then he is misguided.

The main question then being why did they offer Stoke £25m for Joe Allen and a measly £14m to Anderlecht for Dendonker who, not only is a player that they wanted to sell, he is also a player who wanted to come and is a fantastic young prospect who has already played for his country.

The more Sullivan says the more inept he makes himself look.

Re: The transfer window thread
Don't know if this has ready been done.

Martin Samuel said that Stoke refused to sell Joe Allen
to relegation rivals West Ham so why did we sell Ayew to relegation rivals Swansea.
He suggests that we did so to make a tidy profit in the sales but questions the wisdom of the move.
He's got a point.

Re: The transfer window thread
The owners have probably realised that he's a safe pair of hands when backed and will slowly improve you by building a solid foundation. Our owners want quick success because they 're lazy shit houses and think that today's SOCCER fan wants to see back heels and overhead kicks every week. The cunts.

Or of course, it might just be made up journalist bollocks because we all know they work on the principle that 2 + 2 = 5

Re: The transfer window thread
I think the issue with Moyes going could be a bit of a two way street.

Moyes probably realises that these two gob-shites are taking the club nowhere and (allegedly true) they now realise he's a ditherer in the market and making them look bad.

Might be a mutual decision.

Strategy 1
We tried to sign Messi

Strategy 2
Blame the manager

Sick of the cunts

"There have been tensions behind the scenes regarding West Ham’s transfer policy with Moyes failing to land a number of targets in January."

From that Telegraph article. Not the board's fault at all. All down to Moyes...

Sullivan would have got more credibility if he tried to sign Lilly Allen.?

Lying bullshiting cunt.
On the positive side he doesn't look a particularly well man.
Gold has got one foot in the grave.
If the pressure is really cranked up on them they might, just might look to get out.

I am rather eager to know what his kids thought of the shitkicking northern non scorer - were they equally enthused with his signing as those of Fonte and Snodgrass?

Re: The transfer window thread
Our club appears to be in a death spiral. Some freak results on the pitch is the only hope we have of staying up right now.

By freak I mean positive ones with our tragic squad situation.

Perhaps Hugill was bought with relegation in mind?

Another well known Dildo Sullivan gobshite.

Chants won't help and I put in a 25m bid for Allen. Fuck off.

First of all, chants will help, and you know what. They will only get uglier you twat.
Secondly, if you had 25m to spare, why not test another realistic target you fucking lying bastard.

OUT

Staggering defence that, we tried to sign Joe Allen for 25m!

Absolutely. Sullivan seems to be saying this to try and placate the fans??

But actually, as you rightly point it, it merely reinforces the fact that our currents board recruitment style and / or policy is totally and utterly flawed.

It actually makes him look worse than he already is.

And as Murphy already stated on TS "So what was your next target, Neymar?" It's just ridiculous. You can't just keep saying "We tried to buy X and we tried to buy Y" if those players aren't available and your chance of getting them is basically zero.

I feel such a sense of anger and utter bewilderment at our current board I can barely put it into words. There contempt for the supporters is palpable by all they do and say and there utter mismanagement of our player recruitment is ultimately going to send us down.
