PL All Stars Game for the Pyramid

Apologies but can't see a thread on this.
Chelsea owner Tom Boehly has suggested an "All Star North Vs South Premier League match" to "raise money for the Pyramid".
I mean, the PL will sell-out soon enough, it's inevitable. We are definitely going to see more and more of this and the Premier League Cup (Pre-season) tournaments in other continents is just the start.
But could anyone give a fuck about this? Are clubs going to want to release their players for exhibition games like this and even if they are obliged to, surely the players will hold back in order not to pick up any injuries for games that actually matter?
It's exactly the kind of suggestion you would expect an American owner to come up with. It'll be interesting to see how American he makes things at Chelsea. Would be great to see him ruin that club.

Classic, so many subtle digs in there in amongst the general stupidity.
Loved All-Star games as a kid especially the NBA skills (dunk and three point ) competitions.
Great for North American sports
...and where it should remain.

The All-star games in US/Canada are usually pretty good. They add in skills competitions and the usual US hoopla.
That said I don't think it translates to football. Will never happen.

The idea of generating money for those lower down the pyramid is noble, but the idea is cack.
No one will care about the game and who exactly wants to see Man City + Liverpool vs Chelsea + Arsenal + Spurs + Declan Rice?
Well actually, loads of American, Chinese and Middle Eastern people will probably pay for that. So it'll probably happen

And is the FA going to cover wages for the inevitable injuries that happen at this game. As if players do not already put enough wear and tear on their bodies with extra fifa windows and cup competitions.
It will be another year or two before they start pushing the super league again or sealing off the premier league to protect the owners.
